If you scroll through recent posts on Limelight Connect, you’ll see several references to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). The NABShow is the world’s largest electronic media show. It’s simply referred to as “NAB” and will cover creation, management and delivery of content across all platforms. NAB is hosting their annual show in Las Vegas from April 18 to 21. At Limelight, being at NAB is like being a kid in a candy store.
Over 100,000 people will attend along with more than 1,700 exhibitors. This year, 26% of the attendees will be from outside of the U.S. and almost 700 exhibitors are companies which are headquartered internationally.
What will you find at NAB?
- Portable LED lighting!
- Bob Woodward!
- Air-cooled UHF transmitters!
- The producers from The Walking Dead!
- Digital TV projects in Ethiopia!
- Waterproof fly racks!
If you’re attending NAB, look for @Keith Weinberger, Limelight’s Director of Product Management for Video. Keith says, “I’m looking forward to the excitement surrounding the advances in OTT – workflow, delivery, analytics, monetization. There’s an explosion of solutions for OTT that makes Limelight’s offerings prescient in the power and capabilities we bring to Customers.“
